Pisang Peak expedition starts from Besisahar in the Valley of the Marsyangdi River. The trail leads you through vastly contrasting flora & fauna towards the majestic peak of Mt. Manaslu and Lamjung Himal. A major intersection of the trail meets at Dharapani while trekking through Larkya La. The Massif of Manang valley is really rich in unique culture and landscapes in fact the Annapurna and Damodar peaks dominate the valley. The trail from here follows a demanding walk to the Pisang Peak. A technical section takes you to a place from where you can catch the entire panorama of the Annapurna Himalaya Range. The trail then ascends from the Manang valley to reach the top of the Thorong Pass at 5416m. After this, you have a chance to visit the famous temple of Muktinath.

 

The final part of the trek takes you to Jomsom from where a flight transports you across the great Himalayas to Pokhara or you can continue trekking through Ghorepani poon hill than Pokhara There will be snow at the high camp from the end of November to the end of March. The well-defined ridge leads to the final snow slope, which is quite steep but not difficult to reach the summit. The descent is made on the same route.

 

Pisang Peak (Jong Ri) is located in the northern part of Nepal in the Manang district. It lies in between Annapurna I and Manaslu. Pisang Peak (6091m) is the most popular climbing Peak among the trekking peaks in the Annapurna region as it is famous for the easy climbing peak.

 

Pisang Peak, 6091 m, is a nearly perfect pyramid of ice and snow. From the summit, there is a spectacular panorama: Himlung, 7126m and the trans-Himalayan Tibetan plateau to the north; Manaslu, 8163 m and Khangaru, 6981 m to the northeast; Annapurna II, 7937 m, and IV, 7525 m, Lamjung, 6983 m to the south; Gangapurna,7454 m, Annapurna III, 7555 m, Glacier Dome, 7069 m and Tilicho Peak, 7134 m to the west.

Eligibility: Is this Expedition suitable for me?

Pisang Peak Expedition is graded as a challenging climb. This Expedition helps climbers to test their skills and improve their endurance. Such high-altitude climbs should not be underestimated, and climbers should approach the trek with proper training. We highly suggest that you start working on your fitness two months before the climb. Previous trekking experience is mandatory to sign up for the Pisang Peak Expedition. Excellent physical endurance, focus, and determination are required to complete the Pisang Peak Expedition successfully. Happy Climbing!

We suggest that you book your Pisang Peak expedition at the earliest and confirm your slot. This also enables you to get a good deal on your to and fro flight tickets and organizing your trip efficiently. A booking confirmation will be sent by e-mail along with the payment instructions and other trip details.
