Mt. Manaslu, The eighth highest peak of the world which is elevated at the height of 8,163m (26,781 ft) above the sea level is located in the ridges of Mansiri Himal in Gorkha District of Nepal. Regarded as the “mountain of the spirit”, Mt. Manaslu is identified as Mt. Kutung in Tibet. If you are one of those, who just started trekking and if you consider yourself a fit, then Manaslu Circuit Trekking, legally opened since 1991 is well suited for you. However, one has to make sure good cardiovascular fitness as well before actually planning to embark journey. This journey is best for those who look for adventures but fewer technicalities. Manaslu Circuit is by far the concealed regions of Nepal, not much of exploration have been done here. This round trekking displays breath-taking views of mountains with a fascinating diversity of flora and fauna. The cultural diversity of indigenous groups like Gurung and Sherpa captivates even more. Manaslu Trek route is spread up to Nepal – Tibet Border, but it is restricted to be there. This circuit has been the best alternative to Annapurna Circuit. This has to be one of the most loved tourist destinations in Nepal.
Manaslu Trek starts from Sotikhola; via Arughat. Arughat is a small city that borders two districts Gorkha and Dhading. The trail starts alongside the Budhi Gandaki River roams around and climbs towards the region known as Nupri. The higher we move, the rich Tibetan influence can be seen on the customs and traditions. This region is home to many endangered wild animals like the Snow leopard and Musk Deer. The highest point in this trek is the “Larkya La pass” situated at the height of 5,106m which is considered as one of the most challenging passes crossing the Himalayas. Another attraction of the trip is Pungyen Gumba at 4,400m.
The weather is generally unpredictable, the temperature varies from -10 degrees C to 20-degree C. It is strongly recommended carrying warmer clothes no matter which season you travel. This Trek has the flawless balance of Nepali culture and mountain scenery.

Day 01 - Arrive at Kathmandu (1400m/4590ft). Rest and overnight in the hotel
Day 02 - Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola (750m/2,460ft). Rest and overnight in the hotel
Day 03 - Trek from Sotikhola to Maccha Khola (950m/3,115ft)
Day 04 - Trek from Maccha Khola to Jagat (1450m/4,760ft)
Day 05 - Trek from Jagat to Dyang (1810m/5,940ft)
Day 06 - Trek from Dyang to Namrung (2640m/8,660ft)
Day 07 - Trek from Namrung to Sama Gaon ((3540m/11,615ft)
Day 08 - Sama Gaon – Acclimatization and Explore Pungyen Gumba (4400m/14,435ft)
Day 09 - Trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo (3860m/12,665ft)
Day 10 - Trek from Samdo to Dharamshala/Larkya Base Camp (4460m/14,630ft)
Day 11 - Trek from Dharamshala to Bhimthang (3725m/12,22oft) via Larkya La (5110m/16,765ft)

Registering for Manaslu Circuit Trek
Eligibility: Is this trek suitable for me?
Manaslu Circuit Trek is graded as a challenging trek. This trek helps climbers to test their skills and improve their endurance. Such high-altitude treks should not be underestimated, and climbers should approach the trek with proper training. We highly suggest that you start working on your fitness two months before the climb. Previous trekking experience is mandatory to sign up for the Manaslu Circuit trek. Excellent physical endurance, focus, and determination are required to complete the Manaslu Circuit trek successfully. Happy Climbing!
Offloading
Protrek Adventure highly recommends the participants to carry their personal backpacks by themselves. However, in case you are absolutely not able to carry the same and would like to offload, then you have to inform us during the booking process and pre-book the offloading. Each bag should not weigh more than 10 kgs. The bag should be of rucksack style only. Duffle bags would not be accepted for offloading. Kindly inform our booking office if you will need to offload your personal backpack for the Manaslu Circuit trek.

We suggest that you book your Manaslu Circuit trek at the earliest and confirm your slot. This also enables you to get a good deal on your to and fro flight tickets and organizing your trip efficiently. A booking confirmation will be sent by e-mail along with the payment instructions and other trip details. All payments have to be made through an online transfer/ cheque deposit/ demand draft. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are processed only by e-mail and refunds for the same are as follows:
Cancellations before 30 days from the start date of the trek
— 90% refund
Cancellation between 30 days & 20 days to the start date of the trek
— 50% refund
Cancellation less than 20 days to the start date of the trek
— no cash refund
